Youth Program: All-That-Kids-can-Be (Inspiring, empowering and building the next generation of leaders)

We work with schools, corporations, parents and the community to provide young people with access to information and resources they need to achieve their full potential.

Our youth program helps young people (especially newcomer youth) improve their educational achievement, acquire leadership skills, adopt healthy lifestyles and cope with the challenges of integration and growing up.

Our Youth Program has three key components:

Mentorship: Our mentorship Program provides a culturally appropriate safe space that allows young people to have access to multi-cultural and intergenerational interactions, educational activities, mentorship, excursions, crisis support, and talent development all aimed at inspiring and motivating them to achieve their full potential and be All-That-Kids-Can-Be!

It empowers these young people with life-skills and creates a supportive environment for young people to utilize their youthful energy in a positive manner by learning leadership skills, building friendships, tolerance and respect for diversity.  Specifically, it involves afterschool sessions, field trips, cultural events.

Summer Students Program– that allows high school and under-graduates students to acquire on the jobs training and work experience during their summer vacation. Specifically, this program provides a 12-week Full time paid summer work experience and employment training for successful applicants.

Scholarship and Bursary– we support and advance education by providing secondary and post-secondary scholarships to qualified low-income students of African Descent. We partner with corporate organizations and local philanthropists to run the annual scholarship scheme.
