The Manitoba Women for Women is an incorporated as a non-profit organization formed in 2011 to support educational, economic, social and health opportunities to increase the well-being and respect for the human rights of women and children who reside in the new nation of South Sudan, or who live in Manitoba whose country of origin is South Sudan, raising public awareness and gathering resources to improve living conditions for these women and children. The goal of the organization is to work for intergenerational knowledge and healing within the community, as a way to promote peace. To empower women and build the capacity for future women leaders.
