The purpose of the association is to provide a nonpolitical, non profit organization for the Igbos who reside in the Province of Manitoba.

To promote and encourage goodwill and understanding among our people, between the Igbos, Nigerians, Africans, and Canadians at large.

Create dialogue and collaboration with other multicultural associations in the province of Manitoba and other areas.

To bring together the parents and children of Igbo origin and to encourage communications among themselves.
